Rob Fahey and The Pieces- Summer Finale Concert

Long before downloading songs onto your cell phone or listening to tunes on an ipod the size of a saltine cracker, even before watching music videos on TV, kids were raised on the radio.   And in 1982, the Ravyns (a quartet of local Baltimore boys) sang all about it.  “Raised on the Radio” was the number 2 single from the soundtrack for the 1982 movie “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” and a Top 40 hit!

Rob Fahey was a founding member of Ravyns, (named so because the group was looking for a name similar to The Beatles, and the Baltimore connection to Loch Raven and Edgar Allen Poe.)   Fast forward to 1992, the Ravyns had stopped playing together, and Rob Fahey released a solo album and formed “The Pieces”.
