The Third Annual Blue Jean Ball Raffle, a fundraiser for the Maryland Food Bank takes place now through May 30, 2011. Tickets are $10 each or 12 for $100. Prize is a $1,000 gift card to Wegmans. For every 10 tickets purchased, you will receive two extra entries to the raffle.

Food prices are soaring and so is demand for help. One ticket ($10) can help the Maryland Food Bank provide the state’s hungry with nearly 21 missing meals. The need for food assistance does not disappear with the onset of warmer weather. Summer is no time to take a vacation from helping those in need. Please help the Maryland Food Bank and its summer-specific programs reach nearly 500,000 hungry Marylanders.
