Terrorism Control? – or Total Control? – That is the Question!!

Here we go and it's only July 6th!!!  Did Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announce recently that the Obama Administration will be working hand-in-glove with the UN to pass a new “Small Arms Treaty” as an avenue for terrorism control? Ahhhhh,  mmmmmmm…can I raise a teeny, weeny, little ole “red flag”  on this one my darlings? And add to that.. Lord Love A Duck!!!  Will these folks in Washington ever give me just the smallest iddy, biddy little ole chance to focus my blog on anything other than their varying backdoor “stings” to our country, our people, our government, our overall well being? 

So help me Hannah….this smells of another “death by a thousand stings attack.”   If passed by the UN and ratified by the U.S. Senate, would this UN Small Arms Treaty,  by some unbelievable chance, bring the following to our front doors by way of the “back door?” 

• Enact tougher licensing requirements,
• Confiscate and destroy all “unauthorized” civilian firearms
• Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of ALL semi-automatic weapons;
• Create an “international gun registry,” setting the stage for full-scale gun confiscation

All this in the name of terrorism control?... Uh Oh, Uh Oh….. Nahhhhhh ..well maybe.  Just to get a handle on it, lets send a few Red Flags Up Pronto!!!! 

Now, I say to myself…Ok, ok, Lorna, calm down, this is so in your face – no chance of something like this in the works, for heaven sake- right??   If, in fact, this whole thing is being misconstrued by a number of our folks, well then Ms. Clinton should come on back home and splain it!!  (ooops…Maybe she already did and I missed it…..) Whadoyathink friends and neighbors?

My closing question….how in God’s name do things like this come in our face – out of no where and the UN of all places?  Surely there is no real world domination garbaaage going huhhhh?  Surely there is no silly inside effort to destroy the most outstanding country ever imagined upon this beautiful earth, huhhhh?  Surely this information is passed along to spread anxiety about conspiracies at work…..  But – just in case honey child – lets check it out and get facts for review.  Make sure the little angels at the "UN" are not playing games with us and the future of our country. I know, I know, some of you may be thinking...."oh, Lorna, give it break!!"
