Red Flag, Y'all!

"Now it begins, needles and pins..." Health care reform penalizes hospitals...huh???

Come on gang, let me Rant:  How does the song go by Del Shannon?….
“ Now it begins…needles and pins…”

"Highlights

  • Quick readmissions of Medicare patients cost the government $17 billion a year.
  • An effort under health care reform penalizes hospitals for excessive readmissions.
  • Hospitals complain that the feds have responded with penalties that are excessive."

Of course, you may say…those nasty old hospitals bringing back an average of 1 in 6 medicare patients within one month of discharge. Now it begins honey child..the truth that will probably startle folks as it progresses FORWARD. For those folks who work in the medical field, it is well known that the senior citizens don’t always react to treatment in the finite way that the text books suggest.  nteresting how the current administration’s Obamacare has instantly looked at the hospital records with regard to admission/discharge/readmission for the seniors. But of course, the possible weak link...that is exactly the beginning of “cutting corners” at the expense of senior care. Interesting isn’t it. Let's put the issue squarely in the corner of the hospitals and they can take the "fall" when the senior(s) simply cannot survive the government decision. That will do nicely..lay it on the hospitals/medical system.

OMG..the government sticking it's sticky fingers further into health care. 'Run Forrest Run'

One little ole thought to ponder.....Surely we must realize the monies are needed to prop up a number of illegal residents who absolutely cannot be denied hospital care when arriving at the ER..and so let us cut corners with our seniors. Do it one way or the other.  (Oh, for heaven's sake, don't blame it on illegal folks, per se...put the blame where it belongs..the government!!!)  Of course the government says... First lets blame hospital administration…wear them down to a frazzle, make sure they are working on threadbare budgets, next cut the nursing staff, the custodial staff and let us not forget to cut the physician staff…one, by one, by one..oh,oh, did I forget the administrative staff as well? Sorry!!

Who cares,  by the time all is said and done, the next four years will be over, Obama will be writing his memoirs for the fifth or sixth time,  and we can cry ourselves into oblivion.

Red flags flying at high mast honey child. This is but part of a long dusty march.  You can whine all you want when you or your other senior family and friends might get caught up in this quagmire, by the time you invest money in attorneys it will be all over but the “shout” as they say down  home.

And so, the government’s beginning attempt to “stick” it to us, medically, of course.  Just the perception of a retired Worker Bee!!

LOL Blaming the "Illegals" again.
We have to take a hard look at the way we handle End of Life Care. This practice of warehousing Grandma until she kicks over is pretty atrocious. There has got to be a better way.

Oh Stevee darling, you once again misread....read a little more carefully, honey child you will see that "... (Oh, for heaven's sake, don't blame it on illegal folks, per se...put the blame where it belongs..the government!!!)..." . You wouldn't happen to have any Nazi-type traits in your background..would you? Thinning out the population seems to be up your alley. Nahhh...on second thought your response sounds like you might be able to find a job on the Committee of 15. See folks, another great reason to vote for Romney!!! Come on Steve, don't stop now, share with us some other good reasons.
