Feds to Regulate Net Neutrality? Red Flag!

Feds taking control of internet….?????....huh????

Wow!  No kidding!!!  Just when I wondered if there would be anything going on that would raise a big red flag for me to blog about….and lo and behold…. Mmmmm here it is folks!!  Feds seek to take control of Internet -  almost complete.  Nahhhh – I must certainly be misinterpreting the whole thing.

This is a description I recently read via the Google system by someone who is willing to wait for any discrepancy before he gets upset:

“Network Neutrality isn't a government take-over. It's a check-and-balance against abuse by a monopolistic power. The moment it threatens to grow to become a take-over, I'll be on your side of this argument.

Given the choice to leave the protection of our Internet freedoms in the hands of a single and powerful for-profit company -- or have it double-checked by a government by, for, and of the people -- I'm okay with some reasonable Network Neutrality.provisions”

You notice he refers to the “moment it threatens to grow to become a take-over….”  Reasonable Network Neutrality provisions???   Wonder how long the “moment” will be measured in real time?

It seems sensible…..why does it scare me?  Government steps into world of the internet ….”control” becomes a term of the day.  Of course we can always put a rose on it honey child.  Yes, indeedy...like some folks are taking advantage so lets arrange for “nanny” to come to the rescue.  Uh oh….this so called “rescue” could work very nicely for those angels who have their sights on more devious opportunities down the long and winding road to socialist/communista intrigue.  Ooops, now what in the world would make me even hint at such a thing.  Must be one of my “brain cloud” moments.

Am I overreacting?? -…current waves of challenges regularly come our way such as  “…..take the little darlings’ guns away, make sure voting folks don’t have to present IDs when voting, take control of the internet, promote class warfare, ignore many of the important steps to improve the jobs market, dummy down the education system over the years and then complain how dreadful the results are, illegal is not illegal anymore ACCEPT if you are doing something against the law and of course you are a LEGAL CITIZEN.”

Wait a minute, wait a minute -  lets go back a couple of steps….did I just include “take control of the internet?”  RED FLAG!  RED FLAG!!.  Work to fix any internet problems we have, but for the love of God – don’t hand it over to the Feds…no, no, a thousand times no.  Is this another one of the death by a thousand stings? Total control in the future of the written, spoken, crying, screaming word?   Do something quick to undermine our wonderful people and our wonderful country –while they are not looking, or perhaps just too overwhelmed with the garbaaage being thrown their way.  And what is this crap about Tunis getting involved – like is this some world wide PROGRESSIVE movement?  Yikes!!  Ok, Ok, - so tell me I am overreacting.  Go ahead…tell me that I don’t understand because I am not a computer nerd.  Go ahead, tell me.  I am waiting honey child!!!  Waiting as quietly as a retired worker bee can, under the circumstances.  But, somehow, I feel the need to cry RUN FORREST RUN!!!!
