Work Begins on Lansdowne Fence

Long-awaited fence installed with $10,000 grant from CSX.

A work crew has begun work on installing a wrought iron fence along Hammonds Ferry Road in Lansdowne.

In May, Lansdowne Improvement Association received a $10,000 grant from CSX to replace about 90 yards of fence, Arbutus Times reported.

LIA vice president Chris Koloski said that the work to install the new fence should be completed within days.
