unveiled a new $10,000 network at its Halethorpe headquarters, which was donated by AT&T and its suppliers, CSI and Communications Electronics.
Previously, “dead-zones” in the 93,000-square-foot facility hampered communication by employees and visitors to the building, forcing people with cell phones to step outside in order to return phone calls.
The enhanced Internet network at the food bank’s headquarters covers offices, volunteer training rooms, a community kitchen and warehouse storage areas, according to the charity.
