Moat Not Included!

Every day our office receives calls from people looking for rentals. While the price varies, one question is almost always asked ... would it be cheaper for me to buy a home?
In the Metropolitan Regional Information Systems,  this week there are 8 rentals in 21227. The median rent is $1670. In one year that is $20,040 in rent, gone!

If you are a renter looking for and having difficulty finding a rental you may want to consider these facts:
1. Average sale price in 21227 is  $204,349 (MRIS)
 2. Avg.monthly payment on $200,000 is $1382 (MRIS)
3. Down payment assistance programs are available for qualified buyers
4. Possible end of year tax write off
While not everyone is ready or able to buy a house, a surprising number of people don't even realize they could own their own home. There is rarely a fee to a buyer by the real estate agent that shows you homes.
If you bought a home at $1382.  a month that is $16,584 -  a difference of $3456 in one year and the possible tax write off at the end of the year. Are there other costs associated with home ownership, of course but the feeling that you get when you close the door at the end of the day and you are king (or queen) of your own castle can be priceless.
Call an agent at RE/MAX New Beginnings today to rent a home or become a castle owner!
