Rabbi David Rosen, International Director of Interreligious Affairs of the American Jewish Committee, will offer a Jewish perspective on religious pluralism in a time of increased religious intolerance, as exemplified by the current events in Syria, Afghanistan and Boston.  

The presentation is part of the Institute for Christian & Jewish Studies’ 25th Anniversary Speaker Series.

Rabbi Rosen is the Honorary Advisor on Interfaith Relations to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. He received a Papal Knighthood in 2005 for his contribution to Jewish-Catholic reconciliation and was made a Commander of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 2010 for his work promoting interfaith understanding and cooperation. Rabbi Rosen is the former Chief Rabbi of Ireland and past Chairman of the International Jewish Committee on Interreligious Dialogue.
