Visit the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum on this special day and sit in the pilot's seat of one of the Museum's jet fighter. Board a 4-0-4 passenger airliner, built at the Glenn L. Martin Company in 1952.
In addition to enjoying a very up close visit to the Museum's aircraft at the Strawberry Point flightline, visitors can see the newest Museum exhibits including "They Answered the Call" which is a tribute to the WWII era employees of the Glenn L. Martin Company. Exhibits also include a large model of Glenn L. Martin's first aircraft, and a model of the Seamaster, a Martin jet seaplane remembered by many local residents. Thanks to suppport of the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences, actors will be bringing to life Martin employees and their stories. With a budget friendly admission of $3 for adults and $1 for children, plus free parking, a visit to the Museum's Open Cockpit Day will provide a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.
