Poll: Should Young Girls Be Able to Buy Morning After Pills?

The Obama administration recently decided against it.

Girls under the age of 16 will continue to need a doctor’s note to buy the Plan B pill off the shelf, the Obama administration decided Wednesday.

According to The Washington Post, family planning activists and others were disappointed by the decision and say it hurts efforts to prevent unplanned pregnancies. Supporters said that requiring a doctor’s note would protect young women from misusing the medication and from predators.
