Signs of Growth: Local Business Owner Purchases Her Second Location

Local business owner Leigh Rand recently purchased her second FASTSIGNS® center, FASTSIGNS of Arbutus – Baltimore, which has been providing signs and graphics to the Baltimore area since 1998.  

“For the past five and a half years, my team and I have built a successful business in Annapolis, so we’re excited about this new location and new opportunities to serve our customers,” said Rand, who also owns FASTSIGNS of Annapolis. “Our Arbutus center has a state-of-the-art flatbed printer and a router, which allows us to create unique and dimensional marketing pieces, and our Annapolis center has a bucket truck, which makes large-scale installations more streamlined for our customers – so together we make a great combination.”

Under Rand’s new ownership, Krista Wilson remains the office manager at FASTSIGNS of Arbutus – Baltimore. Wilson has 14 years of experience in the sign business and has been with the FASTSIGNS center for three years.

“Krista has a loyal client base at FASTSIGNS of Arbutus – Baltimore due to her amazing customer service and her dedication to providing the best solutions that fit each client’s specific needs,” Rand said. “We will continue to bring the excellent customer service that we have always given while growing our business and evolving our capabilities.”

The team at FASTSIGNS of Arbutus – Baltimore also include Justin Strong, the center’s graphic designer; Rafael Rodriguez, visual communications expert; and Sean McCormack, production and installation specialist.
