Arbutus Business and Professional Association held its first farmers market Thursday afternoon, which will be found at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department parking lot every Thursday from 2-6 p.m. until October 27.
Local producers brought everything from vegetables and fruits to crafted butters, baked goods, fresh crab cakes and a variety of enticing offerings. Coming soon: farm-fresh eggs and free-range organically-raised meats.
Next Thursday, June 16, is the farmers market grand opening. Drop by for the special event next week and see what is available from local producers.
