Scouts Honor Fallen Troops

Flags placed at Baltimore National Cemetery graves.

On Friday evening, dozens of scout troops from throughout the Baltimore area placed flags on more than 44,000 graves of service members at Baltimore National Cemetery on Frederick Road in Catonsville.

Performing the tribute were boy scouts, cub scouts, girl scouts, and brownies. Participants included Troop 764 from Halethorpe; Troops 794, 615 and 874 from Ellicott City; Crew 651 from Ellicott City; Troop 432 from Elkridge; Troop 678 from Columbia and numerous others from the Baltimore Area Council.
