Be a Voice Within Your Community

BE A VOICE WITHIN YOUR COMMUNITY!!!

In the past couple days there has been a great amount of complaints regarding how our communities in the Southwest Baltimore County Areas are lacking safety & cleanliness. I encourage every person who lives in District 1 to attend their community Improvement Association Meetings!

BE A VOICE WITH IN YOUR COMMUNITY!!!

The associations need as much support from residents as possible. The more support your area's association receives from you and community residence the louder those issues are heard.

The AIA is an organization for our arbutus community. All Arbutus residents and other organizations benefit from meeting attendance. Your interests and viewpoints have a greater probability of being voiced, your input regarding the Arbutus community is valued and very useful and is greatly needed!

It’s not something you have to do, but rather something you should want to do. As homeowners we should want to promote positive change, improve physical conditions of our area, help control the crime, maintain our property values, and come together as a whole. Meeting are only an hour! Its worth giving an hour to help your community from deteriorating.

We all have a busy life....family, kids, work, sports, school, etc....but taking just one hour to attend a monthly meeting to help support your community, the place  you live and raise your children will only benefit you in the end. Plus you get face to face attention from other area leaders, councilmen’s office & other elected officials.

Arbutus should be a place where everyone feels safe on his/her street and in the house of his/her friends. It should be a place where each individual's dignity and self-respect is strengthened by the respect and affection of neighbors. It should be a place where each of us can find the satisfaction and warmth which comes from being a member of the community.
