More About Arbutus Elementary School
Arbutus has a long and proud history, dating to a one-room schoolhouse built in 1885. Two rooms added onto the original building in 1917, since renovated, are still used as the school's library.
The school describes its mission as providing an academic and social program that challenges and accommodates each child's individual abilities.
