The Relay Holiday House Tour is Saturday, December 11, 5:00-9:00 p.m. Seven neighborhood homes and two churches will be decorated and open to visitors. Christy Metzler plays the hammer dulcimer from 5-7 p.m in Town Hall, and “Flutopia” plays at the Catholic Community from 7:00- 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 for RIA members and seniors (60 or better) and $15 for all others. The frame, duplex home was built of cedar shake shingles and boasts two fireplaces in the symmetrical front rooms. Both sides of the home have been renovated over the years with built-in cabinets constructed by Herbert Plitt. Most recently on the Heinrich side, the dining room has been restored.
