Honey child, you are just going to love this bit of information....mmmmm, well maybe not so much! This is one of the surprises coming our way regarding the new Obama Health Care Bill which will hit thousands of citizens after the end of 2012. Surprise! Surprise!! Surprise!!!
"Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home, etc. When did this happen? It's in the health care bill, -- and it goes into effect in 2013. Why 2013? Could it be so that it doesn’t come to light until after the 2012 elections? So, this is ‘change you can believe in’?
Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% sales tax.
If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation, -- who often downsize their homes. Does this make your November, 2012 vote more important?
Oh, you weren't aware that this was in the ObamaCare bill? Guess what; you aren't alone! There are more than a few members of Congress that weren't
aware of it either.

ObamaCare Flatlines: ObamaCare Taxes Home Sales - Clobbers Middle-Class Americans Posted April 8, 2010
“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes,”
President Obama, September 12, 2008

Yea, but Bruce, it could have been true.

Thank Bruce....I suggest that everyone refer to the snopes information....you may still (if snopes is correct) feel a little nausea at what appears to be another "hit" on hard working, tax paying citizens to cover what down the road may well be health care coverage for ALL...including 10 million illegal folks ....again, at the expense of tax paying citizens. For some reason...it smells of "redistribution of hard earned money" to me....just another fork in the road or another fork in the backs of citizens. I know, I know, I am so suspicious...does that run in the genes????

Lorna, "redistribution of hard earned money" is the way things get done in this country. How do you think we pay our brave warriors who are fighting for our freedom overseas? They get paid through "redistribution of hard earned money".

"redistribution of hard earned money" sounds a bit like a pension plan to me. Loving it!
Congrats on your retirement (seriously!)

Ah Sean....I love it when you take the high road!!! And don't forget all the "hard earned money" that is reinvested in our wonderful country to keep our wonderful folks educated, with jobs, entrepreneurship opportunities, buy homes, build homes, build highways, bridges, on and on and on.. oh and then redistributed to many third world countries for health, food, education, et al...on, and on, and on. Money taken from our rich, our middle income, and even our poor and redistributed in through the back door ways that are very questionable...i.e., taken from citizens to provide for non-citizens....just simply endless isn't it!!

Lorna, so you are against foreign aid? What in particular don't you like about foreign aid and to which countries would you stop sending the money to?

And Sean, as for fighting for our freedoms "over seas" our enemies come in many forms thats for sure...World War II was fought over seas...aren't you glad? Trying to keep these little darlings contained overseas might be a losing battle down the road...hope not!!

Lorna, I am glad that WWII was fought overseas. I don't understand the question.

So glad you agree with the World War II fighting location. Nothing sinister about the remark....just a response to your remark regarding our brave warriors. As for aid to foreign countries...not sure where in my remarks you gathered that I am not pleased with extending aid to foreign countries....Oh, oh, I know you must be referring to the part of my response where I say "Money taken from our rich, our middle income, and even our poor and redistributed in through the back door ways that are very questionable...i.e., taken from citizens to provide for non-citizens....just simply endless isn't it!!" Actually honey child I am referring to our immediate home front! But while we are at it...do you think we should continue to extend substantial funding to Pakistan? Would not mind if they were a more friendly bunch...but that doesn't seem to be the case. Then of course there are many poor countries that we rightly give or try to give foods, clothes, medicine, farming education, etc.....sadly so little of what we give even gets to the poor people in those countries..Somalia being a case in point. But for this conversation....would rather stick to the home front and the in house battle we face as hard working citizens, paying mucho taxes, to provide mucho benefits to mucho non-citizens while our aging citizen population pays through the nose and will now receive less.

Lorna, it is hard to keep track of this discussion with the "pending approval" free speech blocker on this thread. But, let's cut to the chase. We both agree that "redistribution of hard earned money" is another name for taxes and taxes pay for a lot of things we both agree on and somethings we probably disagree on. That's fair enough for me.

For me as well!! I did wonder what the "pending approval" was all about....seems so odd...no foul language used...so what's the problem?
Enjoy a great 4th of July!!!

What you see today has been in the works for decades, I was brought up knowing the truth and my parents told me what was going to happen. "you will see it but we will not" Just as they said its unfolding to a "T". Its deep too deep to believe. Like Twilight Zone, Star Trak seemed so far fetched. We now have communicators, to Flesh eating zombies. I tried to explain what was going on but its too deep for everyone. Reasons, Blind, denial and and truth covered up on purpose. Mine are Generations personal accounts through family. Family's that have 25-60 yrs of marriages Like I said before the plan has been in effect since 1860's Americans that stand up for personal liberty Veterans is now on the terror list of Homeland security Who would ever thought? Sorry George,Ben,Thomas, and all the men that defended her and sacrificed their lives. thank you and all our brave men. July 4, 1917, in front of the tomb, the American officer Colonel Charles Stanton famously declared "Lafayette, we are here!" Thank you Lafayette! but your message to Geo.Washington has been lost for now we suffer. God bless us all.
