Now is time for tenets, homeowners and landlords to promote a balance to have a safe area to live and have pride of Arbutus. But U can see it MD-Baltimore-Maryland Not Baltimore county. Over the many years living in Arbutus I have seen the decline of Northern Arbutus in some areas, and some areas shine bright, only after doing some research I came to the conclusion about Northern Arbutus and decline in this the area and lack of support and why. First the decline of the hero’s of the greatest generation, us baby boomers we all walked among heroes and never relished there sacrifices for the freedom they protected for us. It’s a tragedy that some gave there lives, Ones came home from war but its not, as they slept, nightmares of the terror and inhuman situations they lived over and over every night so bad they never talked about it never complained. These once beautiful neighborhoods lost to decay do to lack of maintenance; now the neighborhood goes on without them. There picket fences of there dream house in taters. Some houses in decline being bought by people having no interest to live in them but to be landlords let them decline all in the name of greed. You can drive through the streets and can tell right away what houses are renters some not even documented, the landlords does minimal to make a profit. Then the apartment complexes with graffiti broken windows some with no stoves no screens to let the air in on a warm night, Some tenets ask if they can relay a 911 to homeowners to call so they don’t get evicted, Cont..

Cont…. As for the immigrants that they put in the back out of sight, I am not racist they need to acclimate, but I hope they don’t think this is the real America. They have to transition from there culture when it come to relieving themselves outdoors. I receive calls from a few tenants how deplorable of the conditions clothes hanging out the windows. They can’t speak out afraid of retribution, eviction; the Immigrants will not call the police and the wrong type of people knows that and takes advantage. Look at the windows old and drafty, plastic bags fill in were the glass is broken. The offices look picture perfect, but heating system, a lot of windows, graffiti, and bed bug infestation. Dead trees widow makers, infestation of mice, drafty no insulation and the buildings need to be condemned, the colleges I’m told the student to stay away I don’t blame the people outside the beltway of Arbutus that want to separate us and call us Maiden Choice that’s being a derogatory comment, We have pride, now you know why some of us don’t go to meetings I’m sure government officials know about our issues, they know the special laws and rules of the county that if a degraded building causing a community to suffer they can step in but….

One thing is strange is the immigrants have been known if the any of the houses for sale they ask people in the neighborhood if the owner will accept cash? Curious....is the Arbutus Town Crier one person and who might that be?

"alias" or nickname for those living in dangerous locations and apartment dwellings of possible fear of evection and personal safety protection of your free speech, it don't matter who we are, We are under the protection of free speech, All speak of 'direct cause" like painting and polishing, But dare to go to the "root cause". I know it may be challenging for some of you to engage in true reality and have a real "constructive thought process" Great things can be achieved if only the mind is open, the truth is stranger than fiction, and dare all to search for the root cause of our Community together we just might be a foundation for others to follow.

I feel grateful for the ones that don't speak up, I have talked to a good amount of people that are afraid to make comments on what is going on with the local Government and in our community of Arbutus. people are afraid to stand up for there rights on issues because of being labeled or the source of who they are and privacy of being located by there IP address. I speak for those whom believe in repercussion from government. I served my country on what our founding fathers believe in. My thoughts reflect and opinions and whenever I will post my comment with there quotes at times when necessity to back who we are. The true history has been Perverted and the REAL TRUTH has been removed from schools to indoctrinate their thoughts. I have the knowledge why the things are the way they are. If its there sponsor they need to step up to the plate and take responsibility for not doing the right for these people. It is shameful, and take responsibility of them. The living conditions multiple families in one apartment. The apartments alleged are in need of cash they and hunt down for a guarantee cash flow. These people live in horrible conditions and we condone this in Northern Arbutus, You need to contact the Landlord and do some upgrades if you’re a Democrat that supports a green environment you found a cause! Well another break in on Elm Ridge, Why? Well the inhabitants in the degraded, condemned looking Apartment complex will not call police and criminals know it. The sponsors who brought them here should teach them the responsibility of an American citizen, and do their civil duty! But since the sponsors are not doing their part they may be the ones that are responsible for the neighborhood troubles. The trees block the view, in many ways is nice not to see this place on the other hand? When Criminals know that the police will not be called the neighborhood is a target for turbulent times. But who are the sponsors that are making them live this way. All we are told is its private property, but yet what about the health department? When people are afraid to call police, or any other agency or department the country is not far behind. What about living in fear?

RATS ! I like to know when each area started seeing Rats in there neighborhoods. 21229 or mostly Elm Ridge was overtaken, and I mean RATS were having a PARTY and at time it looked like rave party I have never seen them that bad even in the City. But with diligence with 10% help from Local district. That was 5-7 years ago and was aware of the Issue. Now why did the Eradication start in areas that may have been just been in recent years? The current offenders have been high-ranking elected officials, and the offenses have been far more serious than simple lapses in judgment. They have involved a level of hubris and ethical depravity that are shocking by any standard.
The sequence of scandals is subtly and slowly undermining trust in government as well as putting a sordid label on modern Maryland politics. The scandals also raise the question about how much corruption is below the surface and how deeply established it is in Maryland government. If the people at the top are cheating, what passes for acceptable practices among the rank and file? The scandals come at a particularly inopportune time for Maryland politicians, forming a backdrop of hostile public reaction to Annapolis tax increases and the push by leaders for more state-sponsored gambling.

Slumlords overcharge for property in poor neighborhoods that is kept in poor repair and allowed to deteriorate. Some indicators of property run by a slumlord include number of police calls, and city and county code violations on the properties.

• Lack of heat, light, electricity, or hot or cold running water, except where the tenant is responsible for the payment of the utilities and the lack thereof is the direct result of the tenant's failure to pay the charges
• Lack of adequate sewage disposal facilities
• Infestation of rodents in two or more dwelling units
• The existence of any structural defect which presents a serious and substantial threat to the physical safety of the occupants
• The existence of any condition which presents a health or fire hazard to the dwelling unit
Remedy for breach If the tenant gives notice of the condition to the landlord and a reasonable time to repair, rebuttably presumed to be 30 days, and the landlord fails to repair, then the tenant may initiate a rent escrow, pay the rent into court while suing the landlord, and take other actions and obtain other forms of relief. I have investigated there Baltimorecounty.gov that several names from Deeds and found out the renters homes are not approved landlord, I have with a couple names and those have up to 20-40 property's and good amount are not approved Landlords.
Its easy to find out through the web site. I will post later how anyone can do it. This will allow you of Arbutus and Catonsville to do this yourself. The website will also tell you that it is not 100% accurate on the site prior to using it, but you will know if that house in your neighborhood is 100% correct.

Now there is a new problem with Elm ridge. Our alley is a private alley and private property parking area and the tenets of the Apartment complex are always trespassing. So we need to put signs up so it can be enforced properly and hopefully prosecute them for trespassing. You would think the landlord would inform them to use sidewalks then our properties.we have to find someone will make them at cost of materials and we can take a day to install them the so called pathway alley where most drug deals happen all the time supplying the tenets, so if we call 911 that gives the police more actions to take adding leverage and trespassing is Illegal !.its not safe

I haven't posted in awhile lettering everyone attack each other instead of looking forward and resolving issues in there neighborhood. Kudos To Nikki on taking some of our 21 century concept of today's neighborhoods. Nikki my best wishes to you and embracing the root cause instead of direct cause. The environment today is an awaking to our issues. We work hard up here we are a buffer for Arbutus(east drive) that we love. keep the direct cause in focus but we have to work harder on root cause that our govt officials HAS TO ADDRESS to district 1 and above to resolve and rebuild a new Arbutus. Crime Continued Long-Term Downward Trend? What will 2013 stats bring?
The Baltimore county Police do a fantastic job, but what is the reason from the down trend? There has been several issues that has been called in on 911 are u one? What you should know is that in case of a car accident (non injury) or a bike seat stolen off your child’s bike out of your yard? There are a few officers that have used your ignorance of the law in the past. What is the reason an officer not to write one? Laziness of the officer, politically motivations, department pushed, I raise this question because this been an issue in 21229 Arbutus years ago. A recent incident was not written when requested.
Wilkins Department officers has been on the job and doing an above and beyond and becoming part of the neighborhood. My hope is this is a one time issue that one officer actions dose not reflect on the pride of officers we have worked with in ARBUTUS 21229. But 21229 falls into The Baltimore City Federal crime list (FBI) instead Baltimore County!

We still have no answers on the apartment complex has multiple issues that the Elm Ridge Association has not seen any changes other then the Wilkins Police support.
No cooperation with the management some units have been flooded and contain mold and now one has retained a lawyer for heath issues. Contacting the office but response of there Maintenance is null. The Complex has evicted tenants only to see them go from one building complex to another. Utility Basement Windows @ 4423 painted black, suspicious activity? Doors busted down @ 4419 the office has notified stated it would be fixed the next day weeks has past and no action, Teens loitering late night in this dangerous place Buildings have no visible building numbers facing the alley causing issue for law enforcement and any suspicious activity. The urinating out of a window, excrement, urination, excessive trash in the Patapsco watershed between the apt and Elm ridge Ave alley they do not address these issues . The local journalist this spring viewed and promised a huge Article on our complex issues in Arbutus 21229, but I assume that the potato got so hot it was dropped.
