Teen Charged with Attempted Murder at Security Square Mall

Baltimore County police have charged a 17-year-old with attempted murder in a shooting that occurred Friday night at Security Square Mall.

 

A 17-year-old Windsor Mill resident has been charged with attempted first-degree murder in a shooting that occurred late Friday at Security Square Mall.

Rickey Jerome Freeman, 17, of the 7500 block of Reserve Circle in Windsor Mill, has been charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, according to a press release. He is being held without bail.

Baltimore County police and fire crews responded to Security Square Mall Friday, Sept. 28, at 11:09 p.m. for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. There is no update on his condition, police said.

The investigation is continuing.
