Man Robbed Near Senior Center

21-year-old victim attacked and assaulted by group that took money and his cell phone.

 

A 21-year-old Arbutus man was assaulted and robbed by a group of teenagers in a field near the Arbutus Branch Library and Senior Center complex on Oct. 23, according to a police report.

At around 6:15 p.m., the victim, who lives on the 900 block of Grovehill Rd., was walking in the field on the 900 block of Elm Rd. when he was approached by a group of four teenagers, the report said.

The victim was attacked and assaulted by the suspects, who took his cell phone and $7 in cash, according to the report.

I think this report stigmatizes teenagers. Someone apparently choose to either omit further descriptions or the victim was blind and asked the teenagers their age before they fled. Was more info. given on the police report? Should I be fearing teenagers now, because they seem to be the common link in these Patch reports. Is their any other common link I should be aware of?
