Larry’s 1332, located at 1332 Sulphur Spring Road in the heart of Arbutus, will be open for lunch Mon-Fri as well as catering events in the community.

The restaurant, owned and operated by Larry Schwartz, features mainly traditional dishes with an original twist. Schwartz experiments with the flavor combinations in his food. He also uses fresh and often local ingredients for his creations.

“We grew the basil right out front, as well as some oregano and a couple types of parsley,” says Schwartz.

Already he is planning four dinners throughout the fall and hopes to invite patrons that attend all four to come to a Halloween party in late October.

Schwartz and his wife Fran were happy to discover the space in Arbutus.

“I was looking, and not sure where I wanted to open,” explains Schwartz. “I fell in love with the neighborhood immediately. It’s like a small town. Everyone is so welcoming.”

After $40,000 of renovations the space looks new and inviting but still cozy.

I encourage everyone to visit Larry's 1332 and extend a warm welcome to Larry and his staff and sample his delicious new menu items! This new Cafe is a wonderful addition to the local business community and gives us all one more reason to shop and dine in beautfiul downtown Arbtuus.
