Jerry Sandusky Guilty: Your Thoughts on the Verdict?
Jerry Sandusky will probably spend the rest of his life in prison. Do you agree with the verdict? Vote in our poll.
Disgraced ex-Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky was declared guilty on 45 of 48 counts of child sex abuse Friday night, resulting in a likely de facto life sentence for the 68-year-old.
The guilty verdicts, including 25 felony counts, could result in 442 years in prison.
Sandusky, dressed in a brown sports coat, was immediately taken into custody and led from the courthouse in handcuffs.
The jury—which included many people with close ties to Penn State University—deliberated for only 20 hours, making a guily verdict seem like a foregone conclusion.
The two-week trial featured damning testimony against Sandusky, who was accused of performing anal and oral sex on boys as young as 8 years old. Even Sandusky’s adopted son, Matt, said his father abused him as well, though his accusations weren't part of the trial.
Despite the lack of physical evidence and the time that had elapsed since the commission of the crimes, Sandusky's attorneys were unable to discredit the eight accusers. They declined to put their client on the stand.
“I feel, like many others, that the rapidity which with this jury has reached [a verdict] makes it all but certain it should be a guilty verdict,” Michael Boni, attorney for “Victim No. 1” told CNN’s Piers Morgan minutes before the decision was announced.
Even Sandusky’s own legal team didn’t expect an acquittal. Earlier Friday, Sandusky’s attorney Joseph Amendola said he would “probably die of a heart attack” if the ex-coach was found not guilty.

I think Sandusky will only last about a year or less in jail. Reason......other inmates don't take too kindly to Pedophiles. Not feeling sorry for him either. What goes around comes around. Just think about all those children's lives he's damaged.

And then I hope this strong message goes out to our judges/courts who are asked to make decisions protecting our children from pedophiles and especially to those in particular who have unfortunately, at various times in history, failed them with decisions that have sent the pedophiles back onto the streets, or even back into the very lives of these precious children..

Penn State,Pedophile Priest cleric enabler and Jehovah's Witnesses molestation unholy trinity big news same week.
Jehovah's Witnesses hit with $28 million sex abuse settlement Oakland,Calif.-Google it.
Many court documents and news events prove that Jehovah Witnesses require two witnesses when a child comes forward with allegations of molestation within the congregation.
It has also been shown that child molesters within the organization usually have not been identified to the congregation members or the public at large.
These people engage in a door to door ministry, possibly exposing children to pedophiles.
The Watchtower corporation has paid out millions in settlement money already.

I've seen this poll at other Patches, and the results are the same here--almost 100 percent voting yes, with one "unsure." I wonder what people are unsure about.

How many children have been abused, i.e. killed, by the U.S. government in Afghanistan and Iraq? Oh, that's right, they're muslim, so it's acceptable.
How many children are abused each day by neglectful parents?
How many children are abused each day in Baltimore City alone? Hundreds if not thousands more than abused by Mr. Sandusky.
Yes, the guy is deserving of the 8th circle of hell, but he is not a lone wolf.

No there are packs of them different shapes sizes and color, and many victims are in jail, so special privilege will be given for his heinous crime. But will special privileges protect him from the victims revenge? , Sometimes the inevitable happens.
