Arbutus:

Where/When: Arbutus United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: This is an annual flea market, so come out and find some great bargains, find a gift for Dad (Fathers Day will be here before you know it!) or buy yourself a few treats.

Pricing: Free to browse

Where/When: Lansdowne-Baltimore Highlands Senior Center on Sunday, June 5, at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go: Share some ice cream and fun with your friends and neighbors!

Pricing: $1

Catonsville:

Where/When: Frederick Rd. from Paradise Rd. all the way to the Baltimore/Howard County line in Catonsville on Saturday, June 4, at 8 a.m.

Why Go: Proceeds from some of the table rentals will go to the Historical Society and the Catonsville Emergency Food Ministry. This will probably be the biggest yard sale you've ever seen!

Where/When: Lurman Woodland Theatre on Sunday, June 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Why Go: Bring your own picnic (no alcohol please) and a blanket and enjoy the swinging sounds of a 17-piece jazz orchestra!

Pricing: Free

Columbia:

Where/When: Merriweather Post Pavilion on Friday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 4, at 12 p.m. and Sunday, June 5, at 12 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy music by artists like Herbie Hancock, Natalie Cole, Phil Perry, WAR and Chuck Brown (a Washington DC legend).

Pricing: Varies; check website

Where/When: Owen Brown Community Center on Sunday, June 5, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Help out the “One-Month's Rent Initiative” (an emergency fund that will help residents who are about to those their homes) by embarking on this self-guided tour of five area featured homes. There will be a reception from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. too.

Elkridge:

Where/When: Howard County Library Elkridge Branch on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Why Go: Gardening season is in full swing, so if you have a question, this is a great time to ask a professional!

Pricing: Free

Where/When: The Gathering Place, River Hill Center at 6120 Day Lone Lane in Clarksville on Sunday, June 5, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Why Go: A benefit for Troy Park Tennis & Sports Center, this event features wines paired with hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Not only that, there will be live and silent auctions too. Get your tickets in advance or at the door.

Pricing: Advance: $40, at the door: $50

Ellicott City:

Where/When: The Pink Cabbage on Saturday, June 4, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Shop till you drop without feeling guilty: proceeds from the vendor fees will go to the American Cancer Society!
