Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will be in Arbutus on Thursday, Sept. 13, to announce the completion of Leeds Avenue improvements and the beginning of the project to resurface East Drive.

A public event is scheduled to take place at the East Drive Shopping Center at 11:30 a.m.

The $3.16 million Leeds Avenue project includes new sidewalks, curbs, storm drains, driveway aprons and road surface from Linden Avenue to Southwestern Boulevard.

Work crews will mill and resurface East Drive to correct confusing markings that result from previous surfaces that have worn away.
