Crime Roundup: One Dead in Baltimore Highlands Triple Shooting

No suspect in incident at 100-block of Twin Circle Way

 

Oct. 30: Shortly after 3 p.m., 48-year-old Michael Harrison was pulled unconscious from the creek near the 5100-block of East Drive in Arbutus. Despite resuscitation efforts, Harrison was declared dead at St. Agnes Hospital. Harrison and a friend were reportedly drinking near the water. The friend said that he fell asleep, and when he woke up Harrison was face-down in the water. The incident occurred behind the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department during the Ravens Roost cook-off event in the parking lot. According to police, no foul play is suspected.

Oct. 31: At 1:57 a.m. several people began fighting in the parking lot of Shannon's Pub on the 4400 block of Annapolis Road. A man attempting to break up the fight was stabbed on the upper left leg.

Oct. 31: Three teenagers were shot – one fatally – near the 100-block of Twin Circle Way in Baltimore Highlands. Dequan Travonte Burks, 16, was found dead at the scene. Trekwan Woodward, 15, was driven by a friend to Harbor Hospital and then transferred to Shock Trauma. Imean Abdullah Shaheed, 18, was transported to Shock Trauma by ambulance. According to police, the incident may have originated at a footbridge over Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Police have no suspects for the shooting.
