City Man Charged in Arbutus BoA Robbery
Gun implied in Jan. 19 robbery of Arbutus bank.
A Baltimore City man was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with the armed robbery of the Bank of America on the 5200-block of East Drive in Arbutus.
According to police, Donnell Melvin Jackson entered the bank at about 1:53 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money in an envelope or the teller would be shot in the face.
Jackson grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the teller and fled from the bank. Based on the description of witnesses, Jackson was located on foot by patrol cars near Leeds Avenue and Circle Drive and taken into custody.
Jackson, 29, of the 1700-block of Ensor Street in Baltimore, was charged with armed robbery. According to police, Jackson's girlfriend lives on Circle Drive.

Once again, I would like to commend/ congratulate the citizens and the Baltimore County Police Officers for apprehending another menace/assailant of society! I can only imagine the terror and the trauma that the bank teller experienced, and probably will endure for a long, time!
