Baltimore Man Held in Fire Hall Incident

James Lesley Cole IV is being held on $350,000 bail on multiple charges following a hit and run accident on Feb. 4.

 

A 26-year-old city man is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson on multiple charges stemming from an early morning hit and run accident after a stabbing at a private party at the Violetville Volunteer Fire Department on Feb. 4, police said.

James Lesley Cole, IV, of the 3700 block of Woodridge Road in Baltimore City, is being held on $350,000 bail, according to police spokesperson Cathleen Batton.

According to police, at around 1:40 a.m., Cole was backing a 2010 Acura out of a parking spot and struck a 30-year-old man. The victim was transported by ambulance to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Cole was arrested at the scene and charged with driving on a revoked license, DWI, failure to present a valid driver's license, failure to stop after an accident, violating the terms of a car rental agreement, failure to return to the scene of an accident and failure to render aid to the victim, Batton said.

At around 1:30 a.m., at the private party hosted at VVFD in which a 24-year-old Lochearn man was stabbed in the neck and back of the head with a folding knife, police said. The victim was transported by ambulance to Shock Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
